Lord Rama Introduction

Lord Rama is the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu and one of the primary deities in the Sanatan Dharma who appeared in human form. He was born in the tretaYuga to the ruler of the Kingdom of Kosala as his elder Son.

Lakshmana, Bharata, and Shatrughna were the siblings of the Rama. Great sage and poet Valmiki did the grand apotheosis of Lord Rama in the most beautiful epic known by the name of Ramayan.

Ramayan showcased the virtues of Lord Rama and presented the human aspect of the supreme being, Lord Rama.

Although Ram was the supreme being, and the king of the Ayodhya; still, he endured the ascetic life and manifested the ideal lifestyle for humanity.

In a grand ceremony, Lord Rama lifted the Lord SHIVA's bow and broke the bow to get married to mother Sita.

Under the influence to an old lady Manthra; Mother of Bharata, Kaykai banished Rama from Ayodhya for 14 years so that her son Bharata could sit on the throne.

Lord Rama fulfilled the responsibility of ideal son by accepting 14 years of exile so that his younger brother could sit on the throne.

Rama younger brother Laxman decided to serve his elder brother Rama during the deportee.

When Bharata came to know about Rama exile, he got filled with great grief. He immediately reached to Pachavati, and request Rama to accept the throne.

Rama gave affection to Bharata and ordered him to rule the kingdom without any feeling of sorrows.

As an ideal brother, Bharata accepted the command of his elder brother and governed the state as substitute ruler till Rama return.

During the exile, Lord Rama destroyed many demons and freed the state from their atrocities.

The main reason for Rama Avatar was to give freedom to the innocent and sages from the cruelties of the demons and establish peace among people.

Rama connected with everyone without considering the caste, creed, and gender of anyone. It was the true definition of secularism which Rama established.

Filled with generosity, and compassion Rama served justice to everyone. Unfortunately the demon king Ravana kidnapped goddess, Sita. Rama searched for goddess Sita everywhere.

The separation of Rama with Sita filled Rughvar with great grief. Even tears from the Mahakaal eyes came out.

Monkeys, bears, birds and other animals helped Lord Rama to search goddess Sita and finally, Lord Hanuman searched mother Sita and passed Lord Rama message to goddess Sita.

Hanuman informed Rama that demon king Ravana kidnapped goddess, Sita. Rama tried to contact Ravana and settle for peace, but Ravana ignored Rama's proposal considering him ordinary human.

Consequently, Rama with the army of Sugriva attacked Lanka and the deadly war started.

After the disastrous war of Lanka, Lord Rama killed the demon king Ravana and gave freedom to goddess Sita.

Sitting on Puspak Vimana; Rama returned to Ayodhya through airways, and the citizens of Ayodhya celebrated Rama arrival as Deepawali.

Since then Deepawali became a major festival in India.

During Deepawali, people light their house with lamps and worship Rama and Sita as Laxmi - Narayan.

The name of Lord Rama indicates the pleasant, divine, charming, handsome Lord. Therefore chanting the Ram Naam in the meditation is auspicious and helpful in all aspects.

Ayodhyapati Ramachandra is the most loved name of Lord Rama who is also known as Raghunandan.

Ramayan defined the incident beautifully.

Lord Rama historical existence

The name of Lord Rama is peace giver; it calms all kind of anxieties and sorrows. Therefore the name of Rama has a prominent influence over bodily Lord Rama.

There are many things people can learn from Son of Dasaratha and Kausalya. Lord Rama is known as the historical figure as the king of the Ayodhya.

Adams bridge or Ram Setu is also one of the significant proof of Lord Rama birth.

Geological evidence implies that the Ram Setu is a former field connection between two nations India and Sri Lanka. According to Ramayana Lord Rama, army constructed the Ram Setu over the ocean so that the army of Rama could reach to Lanka for the war.

Even Chitrakoot is the place where Rama stayed during his exile. River Saryu saw Lord Rama childhood and growing him like a prince of the state. Boatman Kevat helped Rama to cross the holy river Ganges with Sita and younger Laxmana.

Taking consideration to Lord Rama Virtues, Rama served humanity and established peace.

  • Rama lived a virtuous life and became Maryada Purshotam.
  • Helped people and sages and gave liberation to the people.
  • Rama is the exemplification of Sacrifice, simplicity, and Maryada (morality).

Apart from that, we all are familiar with Lord Hanuman; If not then there is little information about Lord Hanuman.

Lord Hanuman is the incarnation of Lord Shiva who worked as the important ally of Lord Rama and helped him to win the war against Ravana.

Devotees chant Hanuman Chalisa with great devotion towards Sankat Mochan.

Lord Hanuman is immortal, incredibly strong and many times devotees reported his presence on the Himalayas and other regions of India, Bali, Lanka.

Lord Shiva and Rama attachments are spectacular. Rama adored Shiva and Shakti all his life, and Shiva admired the virtues of Rama.

Actuality the name of Rama is too beloved to Lord Shiva heart, that Shiva couldn't see Rama in complexities. For supporting Rama's human avatar, Shiva manifested his Rudra avatar as Lord Hanuman.

In the 17 century, Hanuman appeared to great sage and poet Tulsidas and advice him to transform Ramayan in Avadi Language.

Local language of Ayodhya so that everyday person could understand the characteristic of Lord Rama.

Tulsidas wrote Ramcharitmanas in reverence of Lord Rama and Hanuman.

Rama is a heroic figure of ancient India and resides in the eternal breath of Sanatan Dharma. Therefore, Lord Rama history is attached to the roots of India and Rama is the base of people's life.
